What’s HOT / What’s NOT for 2013

The world did not end on 12/21/12. And so we can start  a new phase of the Mayan calendar — as well as our own — with the usual litany of resolutions and revelations. Here at NolaVie, we don’t pretend to have crystal balls or to be arbiters of good (or bad) taste, but we do keep an eye on what’s current and what’s passe in the Crescent City.

Who knew that the world would recently go mad for banana slicers? Or that bacon would become the go-to flavor for everything from NOLA donuts to pralines?

These are weighty matters, well worth pondering. So we at NolaVie decided to offer our own subjective, completely non-democratic take on what’s hot and what’s not as 2013 dawns.

Enjoy.
