We've got your weekend: dive-in movies, AOL throwbacks, and chances for dance, dance, dance.

Thursday, June 2/W New Orleans (316 Chartres Street): The only thing better than a summer movie is a summer swim, and New Orleans is linking those two together with dive-in movies. Guests and locals are invited to swim while watching summer thrillers the first Thursday of each month this summer (June 2July 7 and August 4). The pool opens at 6:30 P.M. and the movie starts when the sun sets. Themed drinks, small bites and complimentary popcorn will also be available. For full details on the event, you can check it out here.

Friday, June 3/Esplanade Studios (2540 Esplanade Avenue): Wick-it is in town, and they are throwing some wicked (English slang version) events. Wick-it is a Southern styled EDM artist with a diverse range and gritty sound which proves that, no matter the genre, the south has something to say. On Friday, there will be beer and wine from 8:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the renowned Esplanade Studios in New Orleans. Attendees will also get a chance to see local hitters KLUTCH and C-LAB team up in their epic colabarative project, Melt Facing. There are only a small number of tickets being sold to the public, and they are currently $15 when you buy them online. For a full run-down on the event, you can check out the details here.

Saturday, June 4/One-Eyed Jacks (615 Toulouse): Remember the days of dial-up, chat rooms, and AOL? Well, the New Orleans Ladies Arm Wrestling is bringing that all back with their fundraising event on Saturday night. There will be emails, cat videos, drag queens, and much much more that night, including a dance party with DJ Lunch$Money. The fundraising is to benefit the Louisiana Trans Advocates, and the tickets are going for $5. The event begins at 8:00 P.M. and runs until closing. You can find out more details here.

Sunday, June 5/Black Label Icehouse (3000 Dryades Street): After a weekend of sweating, dancing, and swimming, you might just need to laugh, and after a small hiatus in May, the comedy is back at the Black Label Icehouse. This is an open mic comedy night, which will happen weekly on Sundays from here on out. There is also BBQ and beer to boot, so you can eat and laugh off calories all in one place. The open mic runs from 9:00 PM until midnight, and you can find out specific details here.
