UNO documentary: Richard McCarthy of the Crescent City Farmer’s Market

Who: Richard McCarthy, co-founder of the Crescent City Farmer’s Market. This is not just a spot for fresh produce — it’s also a place where people connect and and share their love of food. The market’s three locations attract 123,605 visits from shoppers each year. Check it out Uptown on Tuesdays, at 200 Broadway at the river; in Mid-City on Thursdays at 3700 Orleans Avenue at the bayou; and in the Warehouse District on Saturdays at 700 Magazine Street at Girod.

The Crescent City Farmers Market plans a summer canning program. You CAN will take place on four Saturday mornings between 9 and 11 a.m. at the downtown market on Magazine Street. Here’s the schedule:
