Failure is a three piece alt-rock band from Los Angles, who until last year basically only existed between 1990 and 1997. During that time, the band produced critically-acclaimed albums Comfort (1992), Magnified (1994), and Fantastic Planet (1996). Last year the band announced they would be coming out of hiatus with a tour and a new album in 2015. The Heart Is a Monster was released June 30th and the band will be playing material from it as well as their classic albums at the Republic on July 23.
