This Thursday, Winter Circle Productions — the production house responsible for local music and arts festivals Buku and Bassik — brings the unique self-described “open-genre, multimedia-drive” event series Check Yo Ponytail Tour to Tipitina’s for a one-night show in NOLA. Electronic duo, hailing from Australia, The Presets will headline the show, with additional performances from electric hip hop rapper Antwon, Aussie electronic pop singer Chela, trippy electronic band Chilldren, and electronic soloist and drummer Franki Chan. In addition to music, the show will feature live animated visuals, original illustrations, mixtapes and photography, all of which will coalesce to produce an immersive experience. The show (tickets $16 ) starts at 9 PM, with doors opening at 8 PM.
