WHO: Russian Circles with Ken Mode and Inter Arma
WHERE: The Parish Room at House of Blues New Orleans
WHEN: Monday, February 10 at 8 pm

Russian Circles are a complex three-piece instrumental post-rock/metal band hailing from Chicago. They play sprawling music running the gamut from heavy discordant metal to soft delicate passages. In many ways, this roller coaster ride is the calling card of the post-rock movement and Russian Circles are a definite band-to-watch with a reputation for stunning live shows. They are touring in support of last year’s LP Memorial. Fans of Explosions in the Sky and Godspeed! You Black Emperor will thoroughly enjoy these guys. Opening the bill will be Canadian noise rock band Ken Mode and Richmond, VA post-metal band Inter Arma.
