Make your own ... sausage?
Thursday, as part of the New orleans Eat Local Challenge, Cleaver and Co., a local butcher, partners with Nola Locavore to host a sausage-making course. Students will learn techniques for selecting cuts, grinding, mixing, seasoning, and casing. Best part of the course? You get to take the sausages you’ve prepared home with you.
The class is tomorrow, Thursday, June 20, at Cleaver and Co. (3917 Baronne Street) from 6-7 PM. The cost is $67 for Eat Local Participants and $75 for the general public. To reserve your spot, e-mail [email protected], or call 504-227-3830.
