NolaVie will be among 65 local nonprofit arts organizations showcasing their programs at Culture Collision 7. The one-night-only smorgasbord of cultural offerings will take place at The National WWII Museum’s U.S. Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center, from 5:30 to 8:30 Wednesday. It is free and open to the public.

Now in its seventh year, Culture Collision offers attendees the opportunity to find out what lies ahead in the way of museum shows, theater and dance performances, online programs and much more. It’s a one-of-a-kind collective of the city’s top arts groups, all under one roof, for the ultimate experience of artistic celebration and schmoozing. Culture Collision has everything from unlimited networking and season announcements to promotions, giveaways and pop-up performances by select organizations.

The event also features a free drawing, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with happy hour specials. Paid parking is available in the corner lot at Magazine Street and Andrew Higgins. Street parking and additional, non-museum pay lots are also located throughout the neighborhood. Plus, Culture Collision is partnering with Uber New Orleans to offer new users $20 off their first ride. To redeem, enter code CULTURENOLA.

Founded in 2008 by like-minded arts lovers Jess Brown and Janet Wilson, Culture Collision was created to provide New Orleans’ arts and culture organizations with a collective voice, as well as a platform for collaboration and promotion.

Culture Collision 7 is hosted by WWNO and sponsored by DEVENEY, Dirty Coast, New Orleans & Me and The National WWII Museum. It is organized by a planning committee representing the Arts Council of New Orleans, DEVENEY, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, New Orleans Ballet Association, New Orleans Opera Association, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Southern Rep and WWNO.
