Experience Tales of the Cocktail on Freret St. Sunday

While it’s probably impossible to take in the entire week of seminars, tastings, networking events and parties that make up Tales of the Cocktail, a good way to get an overall taste of the world’s premier cocktail festival is to head to Freret Street for Sunday Funday, from 5-11 p.m.

Several bars and restaurants along the busy strip of Freret anchored geographically and historically by Cure will showcase great live music, great food, and of course, cocktails.

Some of them will be featuring 'Dynamic Duos' with a guest bartender alongside the local bartender creating signature drinks.

Early on (5-8 p.m.), the action will be on Freret between Jena Street and Valence, with The High Hat Cafe will feature Ryan Iriarte with Kellie Thorn (Atlanta) and Ancora showcasing Bryn Thompson with Carmine Potenza of Loa.

After 8, the party shifts from Valence to Soniat, with Midway, Cure, and the Freret Beer Room hosting guest bartenders throughout the night.

Music produced by Gasa Gasa. No Tickets Required. Cocktails and food available for purchase.
