Celebrate national root beer day

It’s national root beer float day. Obviously this holiday is the glue that holds America together, so you’re expected to observe. Don’t have all the necessary supplies (i.e. root beer and ice cream) for DIY festivities? Not an excuse. Whether you want to celebrate by swinging by an unassuming diner, ending up on Bourbon (good luck getting yourself to work tomorrow), or enjoying a swanky dinner, we’ve got you covered with root beer.

Hansesn’s Sno-Bliz (4801 Tchopitoulas Street) - Order a sno ball with root beer flavoring, and top it off with a scoop of ice cream. $1.50 - $5, depending on the size, $0.50 - $1.50 extra for toppings (including ice cream).
