Christmas has come to a close, but you can keep the holiday festivities going with the Ashé Cultural Arts Center’s Kwanza celebration this weekend. Highlights include a children’s program offering children (ages 6 – 16) a cultural arts education in dance, drumming, visual arts, creative writing, photography, martial arts, and drama, as well as breakfast, lunch and a snack ($35); free west African dance classes at the Tekrema Center for Art and Culture; and a traditional music demo by Luther Grey at Congo Square Sunday from 3 – 5 PM.
