Blog pick: Honey Island Swamp Band jams in a Los Angeles van

Honey Island Swamp Band || Jam In The Van

Jam In The Van is a new live music video platform site based out of Venice, CA. JITV producers turned a 1980s Winnebago into a mobile recording studio and invite bands from all genres and backgrounds to record sessions in the “Jam Van,” filming the sessions on three HD cameras as traffic zooms by. Before their February 10 show, Honey Island Swamp Band brought some Bayou Americana to La La Land, recording a couple of tracks in the Jam Van parked outside of The Mint, a legendary L.A. venue (Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk plays a two-night stand there on Thursday and Friday).

Enjoy the videos of “Change My Ways” and “Prodigal Son” below.
